Area of Interest:

Dr. Kharrazi’s main academic interest is cognitive psychology. He has studied, taught and published in the field of cognitive psychology and education. He is a co-founder of the Institute for Cognitive Science Studies (ICSS), established in 1997, and is a co-founder of Mehr Alborz Virtual University established in 2003. One of his main objectives is to develop a domestic model of education based on cognitive science approaches, to be compatible with Iranian social, cultural and religious values.

   Academic Experience:

Dr. Kharrazi is a professor of psychology and education at the University of Tehran and the Institute for Cognitive Science Studies. He has taught many courses in psychology and education, including:

·         Psychology of cognitive development

·         Psychology of gifted and creative children

·         Cognitive psychology

·         Educational psychology

·         Cogntive-behavior modification methods
